Flying Dreams:

Flying in my dreams seem to always share the same limitations:

  • Flying is exercise; mental and physical. If I'm exhausted, I begin to fall; if I don't have a perfect thought path for flight, I begin to fall in some way. I may forget to focus on a foot, which causes a leg to begin dragging me out of the sky.

  • I have never fallen and hit the ground in a dream. The fear of death upon hitting the ground is present; but never a major concern. I have moments of needing to address falling, but I have never fallen fully. If I feel losing control of flight I have always had time to return to the ground; not always softly, but never with pain or discomfort. More similar to tumbling on a mat or rolling after a skuffed jump on a trampoline.
  • Base Memory - Too old to remember date

This dream was my perfection; small, floating islands of different heights, sizes, and landscapes. The weather was sunny, not bright; warm but not hot; breeze but no chill, perfection. I could fly, in my common limitations; my family was there, enjoying life on their island. The endless scape below the far isolated islands is nothing but water. Depth unknown, empty? unknown, clear and blue.
